Elegance that endures
The eucalypt world is wonderfully diverse. Alongside Eucalyptus sit closely related Corymbia species, including some of Australia’s most spectacular flowering gums, bringing everything from softly hanging foliage and sculptural seed pods to exquisite bursts of white, yellow, pink, scarlet and crimson blossoms.
Meryl was fascinated by those contrasts, capturing both the strength and structure of the trees and the delicacy of their flowers. The collection brings together several of those interpretations, including the much-loved Gungurru, which has become a signature Bell Art design in its own right. That variety is part of its lasting appeal. Familiar yet endlessly different, the eucalypt remains one of the richest subjects in Meryl’s floral world.
